Caffe Vita came to us with an outdated website that did not reflect their brand and an antiquated e-commerce platform. After a thorough evaluation of their processes and objectives, we architected and designed the site that would help to streamline and improve online sales, as well as infuse the personality, community values, and story of Caffe Vita into the online experience.
Urbanadd is a boutique Seattle architecture firm with an experienced, innovative and talent-packed team. They wanted their website to reflect their expertise, but also infuse a sense of fun and personality, since this is ultimately what resonates with their clients. We designed and developed a multi-layered, parallax-style site, with a custom portfolio gallery and unique navigation structure that reflects the nature of this firm.
The Washington Environmental Council needed a stand-alone website designed and developed for their Aquatic Reserves program. They needed a site that was visually engaging, user-friendly, and mobile responsive with a flexible CMS solution, that would allow for many different people to access and update content with ease.
We created content for and designed and developed this custom WordPress microsite for Avvo Ignite, a proprietary lead-generation and CRM platform for attorneys. The site is designed to both drive lead-generation via a free trial signup and to establish a strong brand positioning. The site also includes Avvo University, a free resource section containing videos, webinars, whitepapers and events related to online marketing for attorneys.
Seattle Animal Shelter
This outdoor advertising campaign encourages Seattleites to respect and protect the local animal population, using humor rather than heartstrings to drive the message home. The campaign features a tongue-in-cheek approach to a typically serious topic: spay/neuter, a playful social media theme to promote pet adoption, and a proud, medal-winning dog to promote pet licensing.
Alteryx Inspire 2013
Alteryx engaged our team to develop branding and messaging for their annual conference, Inspire. After establishing a visual direction, we developed all printed and digital collateral for the event, including the conference guide, map, name tags, presentation templates, web and email banners, and all on-site signage.
This Bay Area frozen yogurt shop was seeking brand development and messaging for their franchise. After identifying their unique positioning and value in the marketplace, Berry Delight needed an approach that would convey their commitment to quality, locally-sourced, fresh ingredients, and unsurpassed customer satisfaction. In addition to a logo refresh, we developed a new visual direction and tone for the brand, which then carried through to the execution of a new website, messaging, in-store signage and decor, packaging, iconography and collateral.
We’ve been working with this pioneer in robotic surgery simulation and training since 2012, when we overhauled the company’s visual branding and communications to better reflect its leadership role in the field. Upon completing the brand rollout, we designed a content-rich website with a custom WordPress CMS. The site includes an interactive curriculum-sharing portal and robust event registration module, as well as integrations with Marketo and SalesForce.

Bossy-Pants Creative Director
With a varied and results-producing career already under her (very stylish) belt, Bridget co-founded TRAY Creative in 2009. As Principal and Creative Director, she thoughtfully and meticulously leads each client’s project from inception to fruition, asking the right questions, actively listening, and creatively solving problems along the way. Her personal values of integrity, mutual respect, and relationship building permeate the TRAY culture.
Bridget came to Seattle after living too long in Ohio and southern California, and gives back to her adopted community by supporting public radio (KEXP!), shopping locally, and working with several local nonprofits. Along with listening to audio books and taking walks, the bulk of her free time is spent searching for the most outstanding and memorable food experiences in Seattle and elsewhere. It is something of an obsession, and involves A LOT of pie. Also, her cats are far superior to any other four-legged creatures on the planet, so don’t even try. Seriously. Bridget wins at cats.
Snark-Riddled Project Manager and Content Creationist
With nearly 15 years in marketing, content creation, and project management, Kellee wields her experience like a sword in a fierce battle against chaos, confusion, and poor grammar. In her role at TRAY, that translates to near-neurotic monitoring of task assignments, timelines, and budget spreadsheets – and the occasional manic rant detailing the stark differences between “effect” and “affect.” Kellee’s greater contributions to society include regularly storming the steps of the capitol in the name of public education, hugging trees and saving elephants, and raising her children to be engaged world citizens. Beyond that, she spends her downtime pressing her nose into books and the rest of her body into increasingly challenging yoga poses.
Pearl Jam Fanatical Senior Designer
James is a creative powerhouse with an unwavering insistence on perfection. Detail-oriented and maybe a little neurotic, he obsesses (in a good way) over spacing, grids, and alignment to create clean, efficient, user centered design. Originally from California, James prefers Seattle’s higher tree-to-people ratio, and works hard to embody all of our city’s most beloved clichés: he takes his espresso four shots at a time, he’s seen Pearl Jam live more times than he can count, and he goes about his day with a lumberjack’s beard attached to his face. On the rare occasions when James and his beard venture outside the office, they like to explore nature, photograph adventures, volunteer for Pearl Jam’s various charities, and play guitar badly.
Mild Mannered Graphic Designer
Ciara loves design for its ability to transform brands and businesses. She has a knack for understanding brand context and audience motivation, and transforms those insights into design solutions strongly tied to business goals. Away from the office, Ciara is equally likely to be found with a backpack in the Cascades as she is with a fancy cocktail in Ballard’s latest “it” spot. Though normally calm and even-keeled, she gets a little testy if she can’t find her “good” pen or Tapatío at a Mexican restaurant. Ciara was raised on a farm outside of Seattle and despite lingering ambitions to relocate south of the border, she relishes her hometown’s gray moodiness and confluence of art and technology. She contributes to the Emerald City’s inherent beauty by considering the entire community her extended family, and seeking out opportunities to serve.
Foul-mouthed Web Developer
Christine combines tech skills with people skills, and can easily converse with clients in English rather than tech speak. She’s worked as a designer, developer, and tech manager in the web industry for over 16 years and remembers the good ‘ol days of Lynx. She’s a pro in front-end technologies and specializes in responsive web development, open source solutions, and custom WordPress and ExpressionEngine applications. Christine loves running, hiking, nordic skiing, and yoga and is usually off on some crazy mountain adventure with her equally crazy dog. She crochets little animals and collects sparkly things and can be easily bribed with peanut butter cups. She can bust out some mean 50 Cent and Ludacris. Christine has a BS in Computer Graphics from Purdue University.
